Thumbnails for a personal project i'm working on. I read The Forever War the over day. Simply awesome book, highly recommend it. Anyways i decided to illustrate it.
Working on the first Tauran encounter at the moment, taking my time on it though because i really want to do the book justice. I like the way the suit is going but i think i want to make more retro and clunky looking. I heard Ridly Scotts working on making a film based on the book. Photoshop CS2 Constructive crits encouraged! |

I just have to say that all the designs look amazing. I haven't read the book personally (though after seeing your designs, I might just have to), but they all look just awesome.
I have to ask though, what is it exactly that you're doing? Is it a painting? Perhaps you're trying your hand at animation? Probably a painting, but when I saw your wording, I thought you may be using these as possible model sheets for 3D characters?
